Blower cleaning and condensate-pump care in Lake Forest Park
At this Lake Forest Park home, Evergreen serviced an 80% gas furnace with a heat pump. The maintenance included a blower-wheel cleaning and attention to the condensate pump’s safety wiring. It was a chance to care for the parts moving air through the home and the components handling water behind the scenes.
Cleaning the blower and checking heat
The technician completed the blower-wheel cleaning, then checked the burners, flame sensor and igniter. Inducer and blower motor amperage were checked as well. The inspection also covered pressure-switch ports and the electrical and refrigerant connections.
With a furnace and heat pump serving the home, the visit considered the connected heating setup. The completion notes recorded good temperature-rise values and described the equipment as working properly during testing. The accompanying photo documents the blower assembly outside the cabinet during the cleaning work.
Connecting the pump’s safety wiring
The condensate pump was not safety wired when inspected. The technician connected that wiring during the appointment, and the completed maintenance record described the system as working properly. The pump’s protective function was included in the heating setup as part of the completed work.
For the household, the aim of this care was straightforward: look after the existing heating equipment before a hidden maintenance need becomes an interruption. Annual maintenance was recommended for continued care after the cleaning, inspection and wiring work.
