Checking heating output and motor operation at a Kent home

A Kent maintenance appointment gave Evergreen an opportunity to check how the home's heating equipment was operating during a routine tune-up. The technician inspected and tested the systems for issues or errors and recorded the condition of the filters, heating output, airflow and major motors.

Looking at operation and motor load

The operating checks showed that airflow and heating output were within the expected ranges during the visit. All major motors were also operating within acceptable amperage ranges. Checking motor current adds another part of the operating picture alongside the heat the equipment delivers.

The photos give a closer look at those checks, including a manometer connected to the furnace.

A tune-up with no operating concern found

The filters were clean, and no operational concerns were found during testing at that time. The visit therefore finished with a record of the existing equipment's condition and its operating checks.

For the people relying on this equipment, the purpose of a routine check is practical: learn how it is running before a heating problem disrupts the household. Measuring motor load alongside airflow and heating output gave this homeowner a clearer picture than simply turning the heat on and listening for it to start.
